LAREprep

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of LAREprep, including our website, study materials, practice exams, and related services.

By creating an account, purchasing a product, or using LAREprep, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use LAREprep.

1. Accounts and Access

You may be required to create an account to access purchased materials.

Your account is for your individual use only. You may not share your login credentials, allow another person to use your account, transfer your account, or provide another person with access to materials purchased through your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for activity that occurs through your account.

Your purchase gives you access to the purchased materials for the access period stated at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, that period is 90 days from the date of purchase.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are shared, transferred, used fraudulently, or otherwise used in violation of these Terms.

2. Purchases and Payment

Prices and product descriptions are those displayed at the time of purchase and may change from time to time.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. You agree to provide accurate and current information when making a purchase.

A purchase provides you with access to the specific LAREprep product or products described at the time of purchase.

3. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, LAREprep purchases are non-refundable.

If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same purchase, please contact [email protected] and we will refund the duplicate charge.

If you believe there is another exceptional circumstance that warrants a refund, please contact us and we will review the request.

4. Intellectual Property and Use of LAREprep Materials

LAREprep’s original text, practice-exam questions, answer explanations, course content, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchases are for personal study use only.

You may not, without written permission from LAREprep:

• Copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, or resell LAREprep materials.
• Share practice-exam questions, answers, study-guide content, or other purchased materials with another person.
• Share, sell, lend, or transfer your account or access.
• Screenshot, photograph, screen-record, download, or otherwise systematically capture practice exams or other protected course materials for redistribution or retention beyond the permitted use of the product.
• Upload LAREprep materials to websites, forums, social media, file-sharing services, artificial-intelligence systems, databases, or other third-party services for the purpose of reproducing, distributing, extracting, or repurposing the content.
• Use LAREprep materials to create, train, improve, or develop a competing product, study guide, practice exam, question bank, or commercial service.
• Use automated tools, scraping software, bots, or similar methods to extract content from LAREprep.

Any third-party materials, trademarks, or other intellectual property appearing in LAREprep remain the property of their respective owners.

We reserve all rights in LAREprep’s original materials that are not expressly granted to you under these Terms.

5. Practice Exams and Exam Preparation

LAREprep is an independent exam-preparation service.

LAREprep is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB).

LAREprep practice questions are independently developed for educational purposes and are not actual LARE questions.

Although our materials are designed to help candidates prepare for the LARE, purchasing or using LAREprep does not guarantee that you will pass any section of the LARE.

Exam content, testing standards, scoring methods, and exam blueprints may change. We make reasonable efforts to keep LAREprep materials current but cannot guarantee that every topic, question type, or testing condition will correspond exactly to an individual LARE administration.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LAREprep in a way that:

• Violates applicable law.
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to another account or restricted content.
• Interferes with the operation or security of the Site.
• Uses automated systems to extract or reproduce LAREprep content.
• Impersonates another person or provides false registration information.
• Uses LAREprep content for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Infringes the intellectual-property or other rights of LAREprep or another party.

7. Third-Party Services

LAREprep uses third-party services to provide portions of its website, course delivery, practice exams, payment processing, email communications, analytics, and other functions.

We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, security incidents, or other actions caused solely by independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Links to third-party websites or resources do not constitute an endorsement of those websites or their content.

8. Privacy

Your use of LAREprep is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

9. Availability and Changes

We work to keep LAREprep available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, internet outages, third-party service interruptions, or other circumstances.

We may update, revise, replace, or discontinue portions of LAREprep from time to time, including making reasonable changes to course materials and practice exams as the LARE changes.

Nothing in these Terms requires LAREprep to maintain a particular feature, platform, interface, or third-party service indefinitely.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to LAREprep if we reasonably determine that a user has:

• Shared an account or purchased materials with another person.
• Copied or distributed protected LAREprep content.
• Attempted to circumvent access or security controls.
• Used LAREprep fraudulently or unlawfully.
• Otherwise materially violated these Terms.

Termination of access for a violation of these Terms does not entitle the user to a refund except where required by law.

11. Disclaimer

LAREprep is provided for educational and exam-preparation purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAREprep and its materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that LAREprep materials will be free from every error or omission, that access will be uninterrupted, or that use of LAREprep will result in any particular examination outcome.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LAREprep will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use LAREprep.

To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, LAREprep’s total liability arising from a purchase or use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid to LAREprep for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you and LAREprep agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve any dispute informally.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or your use of LAREprep shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or legal requirements.

The current version will be posted on the Site with an updated revision date. Your continued use of LAREprep after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.
